Message	Replace the rubber shift boots. Make sure they are firmly attached on the metal hooks. The reason it happens only in 2nd, 4th and reverse is because it's not attached firmly on the metal hook facing the rear. It is easy to put it on half-assed, but you have to put it on firmly so that it stays on.
